Shloka 4.9.13

वालि–मायावी–बिलप्रवेशः (Vali’s Pursuit of Mayavi and the Cave Episode)

इह त्वं तिष्ठ सुग्रीव बिलद्वारि समाहितः।यावत्तत्र प्रविश्याहं निहन्मि सहसा रिपुम्4.9.13।।

iha tvaṃ tiṣṭha sugrīva biladvāri samāhitaḥ | yāvat tatra praviśyāhaṃ nihanmi sahasā ripum ||

“Stay here, Sugrīva, at the mouth of the cave, composed and fully alert, until I enter within and swiftly slay the enemy.”

'O Sugriva! wait here at the entrance of the cave and be on your alert until I enter this hole and kill the enemy'.

Dharma appears as disciplined duty and role-clarity: one fights, another guards—each must do their assigned responsibility with alertness and truth to the task.

Vālī instructs Sugrīva to remain at the cave entrance while he himself enters to kill the enemy.

Samādhāna/samāhitatā (focused composure) and kartavya-niṣṭhā (steadfastness in duty).
