हनूमद्विक्रम-प्रशंसा तथा महेन्द्रारोहणम् (Hanuman’s Self-Assertion of Power and Ascent of Mount Mahendra)
तं दृष्ट्वा जृम्भमाणं ते क्रमितुं शतयोजनम्।वीर्येणापूर्यमाणं च सहसा वानरोत्तमम्।।4.67.1।।सहसा शोकमुत्सृज्य प्रहर्षेण समन्विताः।विनेदुस्तुष्टुवुश्चापि हनूमन्तं महाबलम्।।4.67.2।।
taṃ dṛṣṭvā jṛmbhamāṇaṃ te kramituṃ śatayojanam | vīryeṇāpūryamāṇaṃ ca sahasā vānarottamam ||
sahasā śokam utsṛjya praharṣeṇa samanvitāḥ | vinedus tuṣṭuvuś cāpi hanūmantaṃ mahābalam ||
Seeing the foremost of monkeys suddenly expand to cross a hundred yojanas, filled with power, they at once cast off their grief; brimming with joy, they cried aloud and praised mighty Hanumān.
'In order to cross a hundred yojanas, Hanuman, the best of monkeys expanded his might and strength. Seeing him, a warrior of great strength, all the monkeys, filled with enthusiasm at once gave up grief and collected together.They rejoiced and propitiated him screaming aloud.
Dharma is strengthened by collective faith in righteous effort: when a capable servant rises for a just task, despair gives way to shared courage.
As the search party faces the oceanic leap to Laṅkā, Hanumān manifests his immense form and readiness, restoring the group’s confidence.
