पञ्चषष्टितमः सर्गः — वानराणां प्लवन-पराक्रम-निरूपणम् (Assessment of the Vanaras’ Leaping Capacity; Jambavan Motivates Hanuman)
गुरुश्च गुरुपुत्रश्च त्वं हि नः कपिसत्तम।भवन्तमाश्रित्य वयं समर्था ह्यर्थसाधने।।।।
guruś ca guruputraś ca tvaṃ hi naḥ kapisattama |
bhavantam āśritya vayaṃ samarthā hy arthasādhane ||
For us, O best of monkeys, you are both a revered guide and the son of our revered guide; relying on you, we are truly capable of accomplishing our purpose.
'O best of monkeys! you are the son of my guide (Vali) and respectable. We will be capable of accomplishing the goal only under your protection and guidance.
Dharma of honoring rightful leadership and lineage: the group recognizes Angada’s legitimate standing and relies on him for orderly accomplishment of the righteous mission.
Jāmbavān concludes his counsel by affirming that the vānaras’ effectiveness depends on Angada’s protected leadership.
Śraddhā and loyalty toward a rightful leader—confidence that enables collective success.
