Shloka 4.63.15
सम्पातेः पक्षलाभः — Sampāti Regains His Wings and Re-energizes the Search
अथ पवनसमानविक्रमाःप्लवगवराः प्रतिलब्धपौरुषाः।अभिजिदभिमुखा दिशं ययुर्जनकसुतापरिमार्गणोन्मुखाः।।।।
ity uktvā sa tān harīn sarvān sampātiḥ patagottamaḥ | utpapāta gireḥ śṛṅgāj jijñāsuḥ khagamo gatim ||
Having spoken thus to all those monkeys, Sampāti—the best of birds—leapt up from the mountain peak, eager to ascertain the course of flight.
The monkeys as strong as the wind regained courage and went in search of the daughter of Janaka in the direction of Abhijit (constellation known as Abhijit is associated with success).ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē kiṣkindhākāṇḍē triṣaṣṭitamassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the sixtythird sarga in Kishkindakanda of the first epic, the Holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
Dharma is practical service: after giving guidance, one acts to aid the righteous objective, not merely offering words.
Sampāti physically rises to survey/confirm the aerial route, supporting the Vānaras’ search.
