सम्पातेः पक्षलाभः — Sampāti Regains His Wings and Re-energizes the Search
एतैरन्यैश्च बहुभिर्वाक्यैर्वाक्यविशारदः।मां प्रशस्याभ्यनुज्ञाप्य प्रविष्टस्स स्वमालयम्।।।।
etair anyaiś ca bahubhir vākyair vākyaviśāradaḥ | māṃ praśasyābhyanujñāpya praviṣṭaḥ sa svam ālayam ||
With these—and with many other well-chosen words—the sage, skilled in speech, praised me, granted me leave, and entered his own dwelling.
'The sage who was skilful in speech, having praised me thus and in many other ways, permitted me to leave and entered his dwelling.
Dharma is shown through respectful speech and proper leave-taking: praise, permission, and orderly conduct between a sage and one who has approached him.
Sampāti recounts his meeting with a sage who spoke kindly, praised him, and then withdrew into his hermitage.
