संपाति-उपदेशः / Sampati Instructed and the Search Mission Foretold
अरण्यं च सह र्भात्रा लक्ष्मणेनगमिष्यति।अस्मिन्नर्थे नियुक्त स्सन्पित्रा सत्यपराक्रमः।।4.62.5।।
paramānnaṃ tu vaidehyā jñātvā dāsyati vā saḥ | yad annam amṛta-prakhyaṃ surāṇām api durlabham ||
Knowing that Vaidehī is not eating, he will provide her a supreme food—nectar-like nourishment, difficult to obtain even for the gods.
'On account of the command of his father, Rama armed with the strength of truth will proceed to the forest with his brother Lakshmana.
Dharma includes compassionate support for the righteous in distress: divine assistance upholds satya by sustaining Sītā’s life and resolve without compromising her integrity.
The seer foretells that when Sītā refuses food, a higher power will ensure her sustenance with extraordinary, nectar-like nourishment.
Sītā’s unwavering resolve is central; the assisting virtue is compassion (dayā) expressed through providential care.
