सूर्यानुगमनवृत्तान्तः — The Account of Following the Sun
तूर्णमुत्पत्य चाकाशमादित्यपथमाश्रितौ।आवामालोकयावस्तद्वनं शाद्वलसन्निभम्।।।।
tūrṇam utpatya cākāśam ādityapatham āśritau |
āvām ālokayāvas tad vanaṃ śādvalasannibham ||
Leaping swiftly into the sky and taking to the Sun’s path, we looked down and beheld the forest below, like a smooth expanse of green grass.
'We flew quickly into the sky and reached the path of the Sun and looked down at the forest which looked like a green lawn.
Dharma is implied as disciplined pursuit of one’s chosen goal—staying on the ‘path’ (here, literally the Sun’s path) without wavering.
The brothers rise into the sky in their attempt to follow the Sun and observe the earth’s forests from above.
Determination and endurance—pressing forward rapidly in a difficult, self-imposed challenge.
