अङ्गद-उपदेशः — Hanuman’s Counsel to Angada on Succession and Strategy
अस्माभिस्तु गतं सार्धं विनीतवदुपस्थितम्।आनुपूर्व्यात्तु सुग्रीवो राज्ये त्वां स्थापयिष्यति।।।।
asmābhis tu gataṁ sārdhaṁ vinītavad upasthitam |
ānupūrvyāt tu sugrīvo rājye tvāṁ sthāpayiṣyati ||
But if you go with us and approach (Sugrīva) in humility, then—following the proper order of succession—Sugrīva will establish you in the kingdom as the rightful heir.
'If along with us you approach Sugriva in a humble manner he will make you his successor to the kingdom.
Rajadharma: political order should follow legitimate succession and be secured through humility and lawful procedure rather than factional conflict.
Hanuman proposes a peaceful path: Angada should return and respectfully meet Sugrīva, who will then regularize Angada’s status in the kingdom.
Angada is urged toward vinaya (humility/self-discipline), presented as the strength that restores harmony and rightful order.
