स्वयम्प्रभा-विमोचनम् — Svayamprabha Leads the Vanaras Out (Time-Limit Crisis and Counsel)
ततस्सम्मीलितास्सर्वे सुकुमाराङ्गुलैः करैः।सहसाऽपिदधुर्दृष्टिं हृष्टा गमनकाङ्क्षया।।।।
tatas sammīlitāḥ sarve sukumārāṅgulair karaiḥ |
sahasā 'pidadhur dṛṣṭiṃ hṛṣṭā gamanakāṅkṣayā ||
Then all of them—delighted with the desire to depart—shut their eyes at once and even covered their sight with their hands, using their soft fingers.
Happy at the prospect of getting out (of the cave) they all not only closed their eyes but also covered them with their delicate fingers.
When rightful guidance is given, dharma is expressed through prompt, unified compliance—cooperation that enables collective welfare.
The monkeys follow the ascetic’s instruction to close and cover their eyes, preparing for the miraculous exit from the cave.
