ऋक्षबिलप्रवेशः — Entry into the Rikshabilam Cave
अगरूणां च दिव्यानां चन्दनानां च संञ्चायान्।शुचीन्यभ्यवहार्याणि मूलानि च फलानि च।।।।
agarūṇāṃ ca divyānāṃ candanānāṃ ca sañcayān |
śucīnyabhyavahāryāṇi mūlāni ca phalāni ca ||
They beheld heaps of divine agaru (aloeswood) and sandalwood, along with pure roots and fruits fit for eating.
There they noticed a wonderful collection of incense and sandal, tasty and pure eatables, roots and fruits;
The Vanaras discovered heaps of divine Agaru (incense/aloeswood) and Sandalwood, as well as pure roots and fruits suitable for eating.
The term 'shuchi' implies that the roots and fruits were not only physically clean but also ritually pure and safe for the Vanaras to consume during their search for Sita, distinguishing them from wild or poisonous vegetation.
