Dharma emphasizes accountability: by honoring Agni and placing the fire between them, the bond is made under sacred witness, discouraging betrayal and encouraging truthfulness.

After kindling fire, Hanumān performs a simple worship and positions the fire as the central witness for the forthcoming circumambulation and vow.

Ritual discipline and mindful action (susamāhita): the rite is done carefully, reflecting respect for sacred procedure.
