एकोनपञ्चाशः सर्गः (Sarga 49) — Aṅgada Re-energizes the Southern Search Party
अनिर्वेदं च दाक्ष्यं च मनसश्चापराजयः।कार्यसिद्धिकराण्याहुस्तस्मादेतद्ब्रवीम्यहम्।।।।
anirvedaṃ ca dākṣyaṃ ca manasaś cāparājayaḥ | kāryasiddhikarāṇy āhus tasmād etad bravīmy aham ||
They say that unflagging zeal, skill, and an unconquered mind bring success in one’s task; therefore I speak these words.
'It is said, zeal, capability, and fortitude can overcome defeat and lead to success. Therefore I am saying this.
Dharma as steadfastness in right action: success follows sustained effort guided by skill and an undefeated spirit.
To counter discouragement, the leader teaches that perseverance and capability are the means to completing the mission.
Anirveda (undaunted perseverance) joined with dākṣya (competence) and mental fortitude.
