Shloka 4.48.15

विन्ध्यगुहाविचयः — Searching the Vindhya Caves and the Cursed Forest (Southern Search)

तस्य ते काननान्ताश्च गिरीणां कन्दराणि च।प्रभवनि नदीनां च विचिन्वन्ति समाहिताः।।।।

tasya te kānanāntāś ca girīṇāṃ kandarāṇi ca | prabhavāni nadīnāṃ ca vicinvanti samāhitāḥ || 4.48.15 ||

With minds intent and gathered, they searched the forest tracts, the mountain caves, and even the very sources of the rivers.

The monkeys searched in the forest regions, in the mountains, rivers and sources of rivers with concentrated attention.

Dharma is diligent effort (udyoga) in a righteous cause: they search thoroughly and attentively, leaving no place unexplored.
