पृथिवीमण्डलपरिज्ञानम् — Sugriva on Surveying the Earth’s Regions
एवं मया तदा राजन्प्रत्यक्षमुपलक्षितम्।।।।पृथिवीमण्डलं कृत्स्नं गुहामस्यागतस्ततः।
evaṃ mayā tadā rājan pratyakṣam upalakṣitam | pṛthivī-maṇḍalaṃ kṛtsnaṃ guhām asyāgatas tataḥ ||
Thus, O king, I directly surveyed the entire expanse of the earth; then I returned here, to this very cave.
'O king! that way I surveyed the entire earth directly and returned to this cave and lived here.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē kiṣkindhākāṇḍē ṣaṭacatvāriṅśassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the fortysixth sarga in Kishkindakanda of the first epic, the Holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
