पूर्वदिशि सीतामार्गण-नियोगः (Deployment to the Eastern Quarter for the Search of Sita)
सालैस्तालैस्तमालैश्च कर्णिकारैश्च पुष्पितैः।।4.40.55।।जातरूपमयैर्दिव्यै श्शोभते सूर्यसन्निभैः।
sālaiḥ tālaiḥ tamālaiś ca karṇikāraiś ca puṣpitaiḥ | jātarūpamayair divyaiḥ śobhate sūryasannibhaiḥ ||
It shines in beauty, adorned with sāla, tāla (palmyra), tamāla, and karṇikāra trees all in bloom; their divine, golden blossoms gleam like the Sun.
