पूर्वदिशि सीतामार्गण-नियोगः (Deployment to the Eastern Quarter for the Search of Sita)

विबुधाश्चारणा यक्षाः किन्नराश्चाप्सरोगणाः।।4.40.45।।हृष्टास्समभिगच्छन्ति नलिनीं तां रिरंसवः।

kṣīrodaṃ samatikramya tadā drakṣyatha vānarāḥ || 4.40.46 ||

jalodaṃ sāgaraṃ śīghraṃ sarva-bhūta-bhayāvaham |

O vānaras, once you pass beyond the Milky Ocean, you will swiftly behold the ocean called Jaloda—terrifying to all beings.

'The deities, called charanas, yakshas and kinneras, also apsarasas keep comingthere to stoll by that lotus pond.
