पूर्वदिशि सीतामार्गण-नियोगः (Deployment to the Eastern Quarter for the Search of Sita)
इति ब्रुवाणं सुग्रीवं रामो दशरथात्मजः।बाहुभ्यां सम्परिष्वज्य इदं वचनमब्रवीत्।।4.40.10।।
iti bruvāṇaṃ sugrīvaṃ rāmo daśarathātmajaḥ | bāhubhyāṃ sampariṣvajya idaṃ vacanam abravīt || 4.40.10 ||
As Sugrīva spoke thus, Rāma—Daśaratha’s son—embraced him with both arms and then replied with these words.
On hearing him, Rama, Dasaratha's son, hugged Sugriva with his arms and said:
Honoring relationships through respect and gratitude: Rāma affirms alliance not merely by words but by a gesture of trust and warmth.
After hearing Sugrīva’s statement, Rāma embraces him and begins his response, reinforcing their bond.
Rāma’s nobility and relational dharma—he acknowledges support and sustains friendship through dignified conduct.
