हनूमद्-दूत्यम् / Hanuman’s Mediation and Lakshmana’s Appeal to Sugriva
ततस्स तु महाप्राज्ञो हनुमान्मारुतात्मजः।जगामादाय तौ वीरौ हरिराजाय राघवौ।।
tatas sa tu mahāprajño hanumān mārutātmajaḥ | jagāmādāya tau vīrau harirājāya rāghavau ||
Then the great-minded Hanumān, son of the Wind, led the two heroic Rāghavas to the king of the monkeys.
Hanuman, son of the Wind-god, endowed with great wisdom carried both the Raghava warriors to the king of monkeys.
Dharma as right action through right guidance: the wise intermediary unites parties for a just alliance, enabling the pursuit of truth and justice.
After establishing trust, Hanumān physically escorts Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa to meet Sugrīva.
Hanumān’s wisdom and dutiful initiative as a mediator and guide.
