वानरसेनामिलनम् / The Mustering of the Vanara Hosts
दरीमुखश्च बलवान्यूथपोऽभ्याययौ तदा।वृतः कोटिसहस्रेण सुग्रीवं समुपस्थितः।।4.39.24।।
darīmukhaś ca balavān yūthapo ’bhyāyayau tadā |
vṛtaḥ koṭi-sahasreṇa sugrīvaṁ samupasthitaḥ || 4.39.24 ||
Then the strong troop-leader Darīmukha came forward, attended by a koṭi-sahasra host, and presented himself before Sugrīva.
Then the strong Darimukha, leader of a thousand crore monkeys approached Sugriva.
Loyalty to rightful leadership—forces assemble and report in an orderly way to their king/commander for a dharmic undertaking.
Darīmukha approaches and formally appears before Sugrīva with his large contingent.
Śraddhā and niṣṭhā—steadfast commitment to one’s leader and mission.
