O bull among men, I will accompany the king on his march when he goes forth to slay the enemy Rāvaṇa together with all his followers.
'O Lakshmana, bull among men! I shall only join him along with others when he leads the army to kill Ravana.
Dharma here is commitment to a righteous alliance and to the removal of adharma: action is framed as joining the rightful campaign against Rāvaṇa.
With anger moderated, Lakṣmaṇa states his readiness to participate when the allied king (Sugrīva) marches with the forces to confront and kill Rāvaṇa.
Steadfastness in duty and martial resolve: Lakṣmaṇa channels emotion into disciplined commitment to the mission.
