किष्किन्धाकाण्डे द्वात्रिंशः सर्गः — Lakshmana’s Anger Reported; Hanuman Advises Propitiation and Timely Mobilization
त्वं प्रमत्तो न जानीषे कालं कालविदां वर।फुल्लसप्तच्छदश्यामा प्रवृत्ता तु शरच्छिवा।।
sarvathā praṇayāt kruddho rāghavo nātra saṃśayaḥ | bhrātaraṃ samprahitavān lakṣmaṇaṃ lakṣmivardhanam ||
Raghava’s anger is wholly born of affectionate concern—there is no doubt of it. He has sent his brother Lakshmana, the increaser of prosperity, to you.
'You knows best the passage of time (changing seasons). But you are not aware out of inattention that the auspicious autumn has set in, making the garden lush green with blossoms of Saptachada flowers.
Anger aligned with dharma can arise from loving responsibility—especially when a pledged duty is neglected.
Sugrīva has delayed assisting Rāma; Rāma, concerned for his mission and truth of the pact, sends Lakṣmaṇa to remind and press for action.
Rāma’s steadfastness to truth and duty, and Lakṣmaṇa’s loyal service as a messenger of righteous urgency.
