वालिनः और्ध्वदैहिकम् — Vali’s Funeral Rites and the Consolation of the Bereaved
एते हि सचिवा राजं स्तारप्रभृतयस्तव।पुरवासी जनश्चायं परिवार्यासतेऽनघ4.25.45।।
ete hi sacivā rājaṃstāraprabhṛtayastava |
puravāsī janaścāyaṃ parivāryāsate'nagha ||
O King, O sinless one! These ministers of yours led by Tārā, along with the inhabitants of the city, are sitting here surrounding you.
'O king! O sinless hero! Tara and others, your ministers as well as the inhabitants of the capital are here sitting around you.
The 'Tara' mentioned in the verse refers to a high-ranking Vanara commander (minister) named Tara, distinct from the speaker, Queen Tara (Vali's wife).
The verse highlights the loyalty of the subjects and ministers (Rajadharma) who remain by their King's side even in his dying moments, showing reverence and solidarity.
