ताराशोकविनोदनम् (Consolation of Tara and Counsel on Succession)
न चाहं हरिराजस्य प्रभवाम्यङ्गदस्य वा।पितृव्यस्तस्य सुग्रीवस्सर्वकार्येष्वनन्तरः4.21.14।।
jānāsy aniyatām evaṃ bhūtānām āgatiṃ gatim | tasmāc chubhaṃ hi kartavyaṃ paṇḍitena iha laukikam ||
You know well how uncertain are the comings and goings of living beings; therefore, in this world, the wise should indeed undertake what is auspicious and proper.
Acting rightly despite uncertainty: since life is unstable, dharma is to choose auspicious, constructive action rather than paralysis.
Hanumān encourages Tārā to move from mourning to performing necessary, auspicious worldly duties after the crisis.
Practical wisdom (nīti): aligning action with what sustains order and well-being.
