तारोपदेशः — Tara’s Counsel to Vali on Sugriva’s Roar and Rama’s Alliance

सहसा तव निष्क्रामो मम तावन्न रोचते।श्रूयतां चाभिधास्यामि यन्निमित्तं निवार्यसे।।

sahasā tava niṣkrāmo mama tāvan na rocate | śrūyatāṃ cābhidhāsyāmi yan-nimittaṃ nivāryase ||

Your sudden departure does not please me. Listen—I will tell you the reason for which I am holding you back.

'I do not like your rashness. I will explain the reason I am preventing you. Listen:

T
Tārā
V
Vāli

Dharma values satya and reasoned counsel: restraint should be accompanied by truthful explanation, not mere obstruction.

Tārā openly states she disapproves of Vāli’s impulsiveness and asks him to hear her reasons.

Responsible speech: Tārā commits to explaining her rationale clearly and honestly.
