All this I have told you—the long account of our enmity. Behold, O Rāghava, the calamity that has come upon me though I am without fault.

'O Rama! I have given you this long, full account of the cause of our enmity. For no fault of mine I am suffering.

Dharma values truthful testimony and just judgment: suffering ‘without fault’ calls for a righteous protector to restore order.

Sugrīva concludes his explanation to Rāma, presenting his case and appealing to Rāma’s sense of justice.

Satya (truthfulness): Sugrīva openly narrates the origin of the conflict rather than concealing details.
