Having thus spoken, the tiger among kings—radiant Daśaratha—dismissed the ministers who were in attendance and entered his own inner residence.

Thereupon Sumantra of swift movement immediateiy brought together Suyajna, Vamadeva,Jabali, Kasyapa and priest Vasistha along with other brahmins who had mastery over the Vedas.

Dharma in governance includes proper closure of counsel—after giving orders, the king formally dismisses ministers, maintaining decorum and clear administrative boundaries.

After issuing directions related to the sacrificial plan, Daśaratha ends the ministerial audience and retires to the inner palace.

Composure and orderly conduct—Daśaratha manages public duty before turning to private, family-related matters.
