एवमुक्ते तु वचने शतानन्दस्य सन्निधौ।आगता: केचिदव्यग्रा जनकस्तान् समादिशत्।।1.70.5।।
evam ukte tu vacane śatānandasya sannidhau |
āgatāḥ kecid avyagrā janakas tān samādiśat || 1.70.5 ||
When these words had been spoken in Śatānanda’s presence, some attentive attendants arrived; and Janaka gave them his instructions.
Janaka having said so in the presence of Satananda gave instructions to a few faithful attendants who were present.
Dharma appears as orderly kingship: a righteous ruler acts through clear commands and disciplined attendants, ensuring actions are timely and proper.
After the formal discussion, Janaka begins practical arrangements by directing his attendants.
