O Brahman, O great sage, I am purified by the very sight of you; through your visit I have gained many kinds of blessings and excellences.
O Excellent ascetic! O Brahmana! I am sanctified with your presence. I have derived immense benefits from your visit.
Dharma values association with the righteous: honouring the presence of a sage as spiritually purifying and truthfully acknowledging the uplift it brings.
Janaka continues praising Viśvāmitra, stating that merely seeing him sanctifies and benefits the king.
Reverence and teachability—Janaka positions himself as a beneficiary of spiritual guidance rather than as a self-sufficient ruler.
