O son of Kuśika, by your tapas you have attained the worlds of the royal seers; and by this very austerity we recognize you as a Rājarṣi.
"O Son of Kushika! with your austerities you have won the worlds of the rajarshis. On account of your austerities, you are acknowledged a rajarshi".
True rank is validated by inner discipline and merit: dharma teaches that spiritual authority is conferred through tapas and integrity, not merely by birth or power.
Brahmā formally acknowledges Viśvāmitra’s achieved status as a Rājarṣi due to his austerities.
Merit-based transformation—Viśvāmitra’s identity is reshaped by sustained spiritual effort.
