Then Viśvāmitra, together with the teachers and priests, duly enquired after those sages according to proper custom; thereafter all of them came together, as if filled with delight.

Viswamitra duly enquired the well-being of the sages and the spiritual teachers, priests in right order. And thereafter the rest joined them in great delight.

Dharma here is expressed as yathā-nyāya—acting according to established right procedure: respectful enquiry and proper social-religious protocol toward sages and elders.

After the preceding events around Ahalyā and the hermitage region, Viśvāmitra meets assembled sages and, with the accompanying teachers and priests, follows customary etiquette before everyone gathers together joyfully.

Viśvāmitra’s maryādā (observance of propriety) and reverence for ascetics—showing disciplined conduct even while leading a major divine-human mission with Rāma.
