Having accepted the homage offered by the great-souled Janaka, Viśvāmitra asked after the king’s welfare and also about the yajña—whether it was proceeding without hindrance.
Viswamitra received illustrious king Janaka's worship and enquired about the welfare of the king and the conduct of the sacrifice.
Mutual dharma of host and guest: the king offers proper honor; the sage reciprocates with concern for welfare and for the uninterrupted performance of sacred duty.
At Janaka’s reception, Viśvāmitra accepts the honors and inquires about the king and the smooth conduct of the yajña.
Viśvāmitra’s graciousness and prioritization of dharmic rites (yajña) and public welfare.
