Blessed am I; favored am I—since you, O best of sages, O brāhmaṇa, have come to my sacrificial hall together with these ascetics.
O Pre-eminent among ascetics! O brahmana! you have come to my sacrificial mandap along with these ascetics! Blessed am I Obliged am I.
Hospitality and reverence toward sages is a pillar of dharma; Janaka treats the arrival of holy persons as a blessing, not a burden.
Janaka continues addressing Viśvāmitra, expressing gratitude that the sage and his companions have come to the sacrificial venue.
Gratitude (kṛtajñatā) and humility—Janaka acknowledges grace received through noble guests.
