“And if you remain pure until a full thousand years are completed, then through me you will bear a son who will become the lord and supporter of the three worlds.”
"If you remain pure and clean, on completion of a thousand years you will give birth to a son through me who will be the lord of the three worlds".
Dharma is sustained discipline over time: higher outcomes require longer, steadier purity and restraint.
Kāśyapa sets a stricter condition—purity for a thousand years—promising an even greater result if fulfilled.
Perseverance (dhṛti) and long-term self-mastery, presented as the basis for world-sustaining power.
