Shloka 1.41.5

अंशुमान्—अश्वान्वेषणम्, दिशागजसंवादः, कपिलदाहवृत्तान्तः, गङ्गोपदेशः (Anshuman’s Search for the Horse and the Counsel to Bring Ganga)

एवमुक्तोंऽशुमान्सम्यक् सगरेण महात्मना।धनुरादाय खड्गं च जगाम लघुविक्रम:।।।।

tato rājānam āsādya dīkṣitaṃ raghunandana | nyavedayad yathāvṛttaṃ suparṇavacanaṃ tathā ||

Then, O Raghunandana, approaching the king who was consecrated in dīkṣā for the rite, Anśumān reported exactly what had occurred, faithfully conveying Suparṇa’s words as well.

"Having been throughly instructed by the high-souled Sagara in this way, Anshuman left with rapid strides carrying a scimitar and a bow.

Satya (truthfulness) in communication: Anśumān reports events ‘as they happened’ and transmits the message accurately—truth is treated as a sacred duty.

After his encounter and receiving Suparṇa’s message, Anśumān returns and briefs Sagara, who is still under sacrificial consecration.

Satya-niṣṭhā (steadfast truthfulness) and accountability—he neither embellishes nor conceals.
