बालकाण्ड सर्ग ३६ — गङ्गा-प्रभवप्रश्नः, शिवतेजोधारणं, कार्त्तिकेय-जन्म, उमाशापः

ततो देवा: पुनरिदमूचुश्चाथ हुताशनम्।प्रविश त्वं महातेजो रौद्रं वायुसमन्वित:।।।।

Transliteration

tato devāḥ punar idam ūcuś cātha hutāśanam |

praviśa tvaṁ mahātejo raudraṁ vāyusamanvitaḥ ||

Translation

Then the gods again spoke to Agni: “Enter, O great in radiance, into this fierce energy born of Rudra—together with Vāyu.”

Then, the devatas said to the fire-god, "Enter this energy (creative power) related to Rudra followed by the wind-god".
