Satyavatī was holy, firmly established in truth and dharma. Faithful to her husband and greatly blessed, she became the Kauśikī, foremost among rivers.
Rama, for the sake of observance of austerity I have come to Siddhaashrama leaving her behind. Having reached here, I have fulfilled my desire through your valour.
Dharma is portrayed as unwavering commitment to satya (truth) and righteous conduct, shown through Satyavatī’s steadfast moral foundation.
Viśvāmitra identifies and praises Satyavatī, explaining her sanctity and her association with the river named Kauśikī.
Pativratā-dharma (faithful marital devotion) alongside satya-niṣṭhā (steadfastness in truth).
