सिद्धाश्रम-यज्ञरक्षणम् — Protection of Viśvāmitra’s Sacrifice at Siddhāśrama
स हत्वा राक्षसान् सर्वान् यज्ञघ्नान् रघुनन्दन:।ऋषिभि: पूजितस्तत्र यथेन्द्रो विजये पुरा।।।।
sa hatvā rākṣasān sarvān yajñaghnān raghunandanaḥ | ṛṣibhiḥ pūjitas tatra yathendro vijaye purā ||
Having slain all the rākṣasas who were destroyers of sacrifice, Raghunandana was honored there by the ṛṣis—like Indra of old when victorious.
Having killed the rakshasas, obstructors of sacrifices, Rama was worshipped by the hermits like Indra was honoured in the past when he was victorious.
Society honors dharmic action: when sacred duties are defended and wrongdoing is restrained, rightful praise follows as recognition of moral order.
With the attackers eliminated, the sages at Siddhāśrama formally honor Rāma for safeguarding the sacrifice.
Rāma’s victory is framed as righteous triumph—strength aligned with sacred responsibility, worthy of communal reverence.
