Rajadharma (duty of kingship) and its tragic tensions: the ruler must protect public trust and order, even when it conflicts with personal happiness—raising hard questions about dharma, justice, and compassion.

After victory, Rāma returns to Ayodhyā, reunites with Bharata, is crowned, sends the allies home, governs to the people’s satisfaction, and later the narrative includes Sītā’s separation.

Rāma’s commitment to duty and public responsibility (rajadharma), alongside the episode’s ethical complexity concerning fairness and the cost of idealized rule.
