सिद्धाश्रम-प्रसङ्गः (Siddhashrama and the Vāmana Narrative)
अद्यैव दीक्षां प्रविश भद्रं ते मुनिपुङ्गव।सिद्धाश्रमोऽयं सिद्धस्स्यात् सत्यमस्तु वचस्तव।।1.29.29।।
muhūrtam atha viśrāntau rājaputrāv arindamau |
prāñjalī muniśārdūlam ūcatu raghunandanau || 1.29.28 ||
After resting for a short while, the two princes—subduers of enemies, the delight of Raghu’s line—addressed the tiger among sages (Viśvāmitra) with folded hands.
O foremost of ascetics! Get initialed today. You will prosper and this asram will attain its fulfilment. Your words shall come true.
Dharma is respectful speech and humility toward elders/teachers: approaching the guru with folded hands and proper decorum.
Having arrived and rested at Siddhāśrama, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa prepare to speak to Viśvāmitra.
