“O Brahmarṣi, he is a worthy recipient, steadfast in following you; and a great work for the welfare of the gods must be accomplished by this prince.”
"O Brahmarshi! following you with firmness of mind, Rama is worthy to receive the weapons. He who is a prince has to accomplish many such great tasks for the benefit of the celestials".
Dharma links authority and responsibility: a prince must undertake difficult public-protective tasks, and sacred power should be given only to the worthy and disciplined.
The gods reinforce their recommendation that Viśvāmitra should empower Rāma, since his steadfast discipleship qualifies him for great missions.
Reliability in discipleship—steadfastly following the guru, making one fit for higher responsibility.
