द्वितीयः सर्गः — श्लोकप्रादुर्भावः (The Manifestation of the Śloka)
अथोपविश्य भगवानासने परमार्चिते ।वाल्मीकये महर्षये सन्दिदेशासनं तत: ।।1.2.26।।
athopaviśya bhagavān āsane paramārcite | vālmīkaye maharṣaye sandidēśāsanaṃ tataḥ ||1.2.26||
Then the Blessed Lord sat upon a highly honored seat, and thereafter indicated a seat for the great seer Vālmīki.
Lord Brahma sat down on a highly worshipful seat and showed a seat for the ascetic Valmiki to be seated.
Mutual honoring between the divine and the righteous underscores that dharma recognizes inner worth; respect is not merely social but ethical.
Brahmā sits and invites Vālmīki to sit, preparing for instruction.
Vālmīki’s recognized spiritual merit—he is treated with honor by Brahmā himself.
