O brāhmaṇa, you are worthy to be honored by me; blessed indeed am I that you have come, O Kauśika. Today my birth is fruitful, and my life is truly well-lived.
"O Brahman! what is your desire and in what manner shall I fulfill it to your satisfaction? You are a role model for righteousness. How fortunate I am you have come! My birth is rendered fruitful. My life has accomplished its objective.
Honoring the virtuous is itself dharma; recognizing and serving spiritual excellence is presented as a life-fulfilling act.
Daśaratha intensifies his welcome, declaring Viśvāmitra’s visit as a blessing that makes his own life meaningful.
