Shloka 1.18.37

पुत्रजन्मोत्सवः — Birth of the Princes and Viśvāmitra’s Arrival (Bālakāṇḍa 18)

तस्य चिन्तयमानस्य मन्त्रिमध्ये महात्मन:।।।।अभ्यगच्छन्महातेजा विश्वामित्रो महामुनि:।

sa rājño darśanākāṅkṣī dvārādhyakṣān uvāca ha | śīghram ākhyāta māṃ prāptaṃ kauśikaṃ gādhinassutam ||

Wishing to see the king, he spoke to the gatekeepers: “Quickly announce that I have arrived—Kauśika, the son of Gādhi.”

While the noble-minded king was thus deliberating in the midst of his counsellors, there arrived the effulgent ascetic Viswamitra.
