सप्तदशः सर्गः — देवसंवादः तथा वानर-ऋक्ष-उत्पत्तिः (Divine Council and the Generation of Vanara Allies)

शिलाप्रहरणास्सर्वे सर्वे पादपयोधिन:।।।।नखदंष्ट्रायुधास्सर्वे सर्वे सर्वास्त्रकोविदा:।

dārayeyuḥ kṣitiṁ padbhyām āplaveyur mahārṇavam |

nabhaḥsthalam viśeyuś ca gṛhṇīyur api toyadān ||

With their feet they could cleave the earth, leap across the great ocean, enter the realm of the sky, and even seize the rain-bearing clouds.

They all could strike with rocks, use nails and teeth and trees as weapons. They were skilled in the use of all kinds of weapons.

M
Mahārṇava (great ocean)
T
Toyada (clouds)

Obstacles—earth, sea, sky—are not final when the cause is righteous; the poem frames capability as providential support for dharma.

The narrator continues to detail the Vānaras’ extraordinary mobility and reach, foreshadowing the trans-oceanic mission toward Laṅkā.

Śaurya (boldness) and utsāha (initiative): the ability to go beyond ordinary limits in service of a just goal.
