Shloka 1.11.12

ऋष्यशृङ्गानयनम् — Bringing Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā (Bālakāṇḍa, Sarga 11)

स त्वं पुरुषशार्दूल तमानय सुसत्कृतम्।स्वयमेव महाराज गत्वा सबलवाहन:।।1.11.12।।

sa tvaṃ puruṣaśārdūla tam ānaya susatkṛtam | svayam eva mahārāja gatvā sabalavāhanaḥ ||

“Therefore, O tiger among men, O great king—go yourself with your forces and conveyances, and bring him with due honor.”

"Greatest among men, O king, along with vehicles and retinue, you may go and bring him (Rsyasringa) personally with due respect".

Honoring spiritual merit: a king should approach sages with humility and proper respect, recognizing their role in the welfare of the kingdom.

Instruction is given that the king should personally fetch Ṛśyaśṛṅga, treating him with high honor.

Reverence and personal responsibility in leadership—delegation is set aside in favor of the king’s own respectful effort.
