ऋष्यशृङ्गानयनम् — Bringing Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā (Bālakāṇḍa, Sarga 11)
पुत्राश्चास्य भविष्यन्ति चत्वारोऽमितविक्रमा:।वंशप्रतिष्ठानकरास्सर्वलोकेषु विश्रुता:।।1.11.10।।
putrāś cāsya bhaviṣyanti catvāro 'mitavikramāḥ | vaṃśapratiṣṭhānakarāḥ sarvalokeṣu viśrutāḥ ||
“Four sons of immeasurable valor will be born to him—establishing the dynasty’s foundation and renowned in all the worlds.”
Four sons of immense prowess would be born to him bringing glory and fame to their dynasty. They would be renowned in all the worlds.
Dynastic responsibility as dharma: rulers are to sustain social order through worthy heirs who protect and uphold righteousness.
A prophecy is stated that the king will have four illustrious sons.
Heroic excellence joined to public responsibility—valor that stabilizes and dignifies the lineage and society.
