ऋश्यशृङ्ग-आनयनम् (Bringing Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Aṅga and His Marriage to Śāntā)

अर्घ्यं च प्रददौ तस्मै न्यायतस्सुसमाहित:।

वव्रे प्रसादं विप्रेन्द्रान्मा विप्रं मन्युराविशेत्।।।।

arghyaṃ ca pradadau tasmai nyāyataḥ susamāhitaḥ |

vavre prasādaṃ viprendrān mā vipraṃ manyur āviśet ||

With collected mind he duly offered him arghya, and he sought the favour of that foremost brahmin—praying that no anger should seize the sage because of this act.

arghya (ritual offering)

Even when pursuing a goal, one must act with propriety and seek reconciliation—dharma includes respect, ritual correctness, and preventing rightful anger.

Romapāda honors Ṛśyaśṛṅga with offerings and worries about Vibhaṇḍaka’s possible wrath for bringing his son away.

Conscientiousness and humility—Romapāda acknowledges potential fault and seeks grace rather than ignoring consequences.
