Having presented the token of recognition and fully reported the account, and having consoled Vaidehī, he crushed the toraṇa, the gateway-arch (of the grove).
Hanuman delivered Rama's ring to Sita as a token of recognition, related the whole story and consoled her. He then crushed the arch (of the outer gate of the garden) before leaving.
Dharma includes truthful communication and compassionate reassurance: Hanumān establishes trust through a valid token and an accurate report, then acts strategically against the oppressor’s domain.
Hanumān reveals his identity to Sītā using Rāma’s ring, narrates events, comforts her, and then begins disruptive action in Laṅkā by breaking the gateway.
Hanumān’s satya (truthfulness) as a messenger and his karuṇā (compassion) toward Sītā, combined with controlled strength.
