श्रीमद्रामायणकथासङ्क्षेपः / The Ramayana in Synopsis (Narada’s Summary to Valmiki)
सुग्रीवाय च तत्सर्वं शंसद्रामो महाबल: ।।।।आदितस्तद्यथावृत्तं सीतायाश्च विशेषत: ।
pampātīre hanumatā saṅgato vānarena ha | hanumad-vacanāc caiva sugrīveṇa samāgataḥ ||
On the bank of Pampā, he met the monkey Hanumān; and on Hanumān’s counsel, he also met Sugrīva.
Mighty Rama related to Sugriva all that had happened right from the beginning, more importantly Sita's abduction and also to Hanuman.
Dharma includes wise mediation: Hanumān’s truthful counsel becomes the bridge for a righteous alliance, showing how right speech can align people toward just ends.
Rāma arrives near Lake Pampā, meets Hanumān, and through him is brought into contact with Sugrīva.
Hanumān’s discernment and integrity in advising and facilitating a dharmic friendship.
