All these people are accustomed to hardship, whereas you are worthy of comfort. Therefore, O righteous one, for his protection we shall keep watch and remain awake.

O righteous one! you are used to conforts where as all of our people are accustomed to hardships. So we will stay awake and protect Rama.

The verse highlights protective duty (rakṣaṇa-dharma): those able to endure hardship should keep vigil to safeguard the one they serve, placing responsibility above personal comfort.

By truthfully acknowledging differing capacities for hardship and comfort, the speaker commits to a sincere vow of vigilance—satya expressed as reliable action in service of dharma.
